Thanksgiving stuffing

A basic bread stuffing with sage, celery, onions, and *lots* of butter.



Per 8 oz croutons

1 cup chopped onions
1 1/3 cup celery

1 teaspoon sage

1 cube (1/2 cup) melted butter
1 cup lukewarm water or turkey or chicken stock

salt and pepper to taste

Mix all together and heat through to serve.  

Or....especially if the stuffing will be cooked outside the bird, consider a brief sauteeing of the onions and celery in butter.
